435,440. Fluid - actuated valves. JUNKERS & CO., GES., 35, Junkersstrasse, Dessau, Anhalt, Germany. March 7, 1935, No. 7162. Convention date, May 9, 1934. [Class 135] In a gas - flow control device for liquid heaters &c. a byepass 25 between an inset cup member 19 and the casing 10, 15 can be adjusted by the use of a variable number of washers 27 of different thickness mounted on a pin 26 and the cup member 19 has a central throat 20 screwed into the gas outlet 16, which serves as a guide for the control member 17. A flange on the member 17 controls openings 21 in the throat. An internal wall 23 in the throat forms an abutment for the loading spring 22 of a valve 14 actuated by the flow of liquid to the appliance. This valve seats on a plug cock urged to its seat by a spring 13. Initial adjustment to suit the type of appliance is made by a set screw 28, the end of which is then sealed.
