[Class 44] A turnbutton is provided on its underside with two flat springs c which engage a square shank e or other cam surface on the screw d forming the pivot of the turnbutton so as to maintain it resiliently in its fastened or unfastened position. Alternatively the cam may be formed on the button and the spring device secured to the pivot, or the button may be controlled by a coiled spring.
