Abstract

368,526. Pinless hinges. CLARKE, B. R., 4, Regent Place, Regent Street, London. March 16, 1931, No. 8104. [Class 65 (ii).] In a portable typewriter case a flat lid which also serves as a base for the typewriter is removably secured to the body by means of a tongue or claw 23, formed integrally with a pressed metal lid or attached by a metal plate and screws 24 to a wooden lid 7, and adapted to engage in a slot 25a in the body portion 8 of the case. The slot may be provided by attaching a plate 25 by screws 26 or may be formed actually in the portion 8 of a pressed metal case.
