Abstract

213,120. Crowther, H. March 29, 1923. Casement fasteners, cockspurtype.-The slotted plate 7 of a casement fastener has a projection 9 adapted to overlie a part 6 of the attachment plate 4 and be clamped between it and a tongue 2 on the fastener handle 1. The engaging surface of the projection 9 is inclined upwardly in the direction of locking movement of the tongue 2. The handle and attachment plate are made symmetrical for use on either side of the window.
