Abstract

213,137. Noirit, J. E. April 21, 1923. Stud - and - eye fastenings.-The flange 1 of a walking-stick seat is detachably secured to the stick member 3 by means consisting of a pivoted disc 8, notched at 12 and adapted to rotate in a plane parallel with the plane of the flange 1 so that its edge engages a groove or recess 7 in the stick. An operating handle 10 may be provided, and the flange 1 may be detached by turning the disc 8 until the notch 12 coincides with a corner of the square 4. A spring 13 may be used to hold the disc 8 firmly in any position.
