426,884. Terry fabrics. LEE, W. W., and LORD, T. C., Hooley Bridge Mills, Heywood, Lancashire. Nov. 1, 1933, No. 30310. [Class 142 (iv)] A Terry-like fabric with a firm bound pile has the ground threads g<1>, g<2> intersecting over two and under one pick of weft while the pile warps p<1>, p<2> pass alternately under and over the wefts to complete a repeat in six picks, as shown. A third warp is used to obtain a cord effect for a heading. The weave shown may alternate with true Terry weave to produce patterned fabric.
