423,747. Draught-excluders for doors and hinged windows. PILKINGTON, H., 275, Blackburn Road, West End, Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. Aug. 11, 1933, No. 22432. [Class 20 (iii)] Draught - excluders for doors, casement windows, and the like, of the kind comprising interengaging metal strips on the meeting edges of the door &c. and frame are characterized by an arched edge H on the strip attached to the door &c. and an upturned edge C on the edge of the strip on the frame remote from the edge of the frame projecting thereinto. At the corners, shaped pieces K are provided which overlap the ends of the longitudinal strips. When applied to windows hinged on an horizontal axis, the end of a strip is turned down at M to prevent rain entering. The hinge of the door &c. is preferably continuous.
