423,726. Vacuum cleaners. ELECTROLUX, Ltd., Luton.-(Assignees of Inventia Patent-Verwertungs Ges. ; 10, Herrenacker, Schaffhausen, Switzerland) Sept. 20, 1934, No. 27055. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1933. [Class 8 (i)] [See also Groups XXVI and XXXV] In a vacuum cleaner, the covers 15, 16 of the fan are mounted resiliently in relation both to the cleaner casing and to the motor housing. The covers are flanged outwardly and the flanges are bolted together with a plate 18 which supports the motor inserted in a ring 23 of rubber &c. The ring 23 is secured between a flange 25 on a ring 24 on the casing and a flange 26 on a ring bolted to the ring 24 and the end cap 12 of the casing. The motor is attached to springs 17 which at their spiral ends are bolted to the plate 18. The flanges of the covers 15, 16 may be bolted together or may be inserted separately in the rubber ring insulated from each other by rubber strips and with a space between the covers.
