Abstract

423,180. Unpacking. MOLINS, W. E., 2, Evelyn Street, Deptford, London. July 26, 1933, No. 21039. [Class 94 (i)] A wrapper 1, which is applied to an article or batch of cigarettes to form an inner block-ended wrapping, for use with an outer container which may be of the slide and shell type, is weakened or slit at 2 in order to facilitate folding the part 8 backwards for removing the contents. The slits may extend round the corners into the broad side of the packet. The portion 8 may be removed by tearing along the line 9, and the edge of the shell may be used as a guide for the tearing. The side folds a provided with the slits may be folded beneath the side folds b so as to facilitate the operations of the folding machine. Specifications 165,891, [Class 94 (i)], and 391,816 are referred to.
