Abstract

464,429. Packages. JACKSON, T. G., and MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd. Oct. 18, 1935, No. 28826. [Class 94 (i)] A package formed by enclosing an article in a rectangular blank so that the ends overlap, is provided with means for facilitating opening by slitting the wrapper at 8 to provide a tongue 9 which is folded so as to protrude between the overlapping ends. The slits extend in the general direction of the wrapper blank, and may be extended beyond the tongue. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the tongue projects beyond the end of the article, and, in Fig. 6, the tongue projects from beneath the outer closing flap 16 beyond the side of the article.
