Abstract

259,165. Molins, W. E. Feb. 6, 1926. Packing cigarettes; unpacking. - Blockshaped articles, blockshaped batches of articles, or packets with indented ends, are enveloped, preferably as described in Specification 259,094, in an outer paper wrapper to form a block - ended container of which one broad-end flap 11 is longer than the other corresponding flap 10. The flap 11 is sufficiently long to extend across the end of the package so that the extremity 14 may be folded down upon the next adjacent face 12. The flap may be secured at points 15, 16 or upon the intersecting line 17 between the end and face of the package. Specification 255,937 is referred to. The Provisional Specification describes also apparatus for forming the packets in conjunction with apparatus as set forth in Specifications 165,891 and 214,792.
