Abstract

275,870. Molins, W. E. May 6, 1926. Fittings, internal; contents, facilitating access to.-Relates to packages, for cigarettes and the like, formed by folding a wrapper into a U-shaped block-ended container having a rigid rectangular frame internally disposed so as to reinforce four sides. The package, which mav be formed on a machine as described in Specification 275,705, [Class 94 (i), Packing &c.], comprises an outer wrapper 9 folded as shown in Fig. 6 about the contents and about a cardboard &c. strip 3 - - 7, Fig. 2. The base 3 of the strip may thus be inclined by pulling on one of the parts 6, 7 to permit the cigarettes to be exposed at the end of the packet in stepped formation for facilitating removal, and the base may be returned without catching the folds of the wrapper.
