Convention date, July 10, 1933. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (ii)] A gas-filled lamp has a filling of krypton or xenon with the addition of at least 10 per cent and not more than 30 per cent of nitrogen. The pressure is preferably between 25 cms. and 45 cms. of mercury. Curves show the relation of the pressure of the filling and the percentage of nitrogen to the breakdown voltage, an argon-nitrogen mixture being compared with krypton-nitrogen.
