Convention date, May 23, 1933. [Class 110 (i).] A priming pump 13 discharges into the water space 12 on the discharge side of the main centrifugal pump 11. To prevent the air discharged by the priming pump leaking into the main pump, the discharges are separated by a baffle 16 or by the casing of the priming pump. The suction 14 of the pump 13 leads to either the first or a later stage of the pump 11.
