Abstract
418,610. Hand cranks. KENNETT, C. E., City Road, South Melbourne, Australia. July 17, 1933, No. 20174. [Class 136 (ii).] In a crank handle for clothes-wringers, of the type in which the handle 5 is pivoted so that it can be folded against the side of the wringer as shown, or turned through 180‹ into the operative position, the pivoted end of the crank arm is forked at 8 to embrace the roller spindle 4 and is connected thereto by a pivot pin 9, the handle being locked in the operative, and also if desired in the folded position by a member, such as a wing-nut 10, movable axially along the spindle 4 to bear against the surface of the crank arm.
