435,684. Mop wringers. BAKER, R. F., Hatt Common, Newbury, Berkshire. Feb. 6, 1935, No. 3844. [Class 19] A mop wringer comprises a sheath 1 attached to a rotary member 2 adapted to slide along a handle 7 by means of a guide 3 and arm 4. The sheath is flexible and is not fixed to the handle 7 but can be drawn down over the mop and rotated so as to squeeze the mop. The wringing device constitutes a separate unit and can be removed and applied to any suitable mop. A stop 8 may be provided at the top of the handle and a spring blade 9 to retain the member 3 when the device is out of use. Specification 390,265 is referred to.
