415,967. Doffing cops and applying tubes in cop-winding machines. REINERS, W., 48, Rheydterstrasse, Gladbach, Munich, Germany. Sept. 22, 1933, No. 8749/34. Convention date, Dec. 23, 1932. Divided out of 411,340. [Class 120 (ii).] In cop-winding machines a doffing-member 44 is operated by a shaft 17 actuating racks 16 to remove fully wound cops, and empty cop tubes, placed in holders 5, 6 when in the position shown in full lines, are pushed on to the spindles by operating a shaft 14 actuating racks 9 carrying a shaft 40 on which the holders are so pivoted and counterbalanced that, while normally occupying the position shown in dotted lines, they may be swung into the position shown in full lines to permit doffing of the cops and to facilitate re-charging.
