415,134. Sliding - clasp fastenings. LIGHTNING FASTENERS, Ltd., Imperial Chemical House, Millbank, London.-(Hooldess Fastener Co. ; Meadville, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) Feb. 23 1933, No. 5542. Addition to 369, 200. [Class 44.] A slider for a sliding clasp fastener as claimed in the parent Specification in which the slider can be locked in any position without requiring the pull tab to be in a particular position comprises a rocker arm 18 pivoted to a lug 15 formed on the body of the slider and held in locking engagement by a leaf spring 21 housed under or within the rocker arm, the spring being anchored to the lug at one side of the pivot and extending over the pivot to bear on the rocker arm. The rocker arm 18 is of channel form and has punched-in pivots to enter the holes 16 in the lug. Upward movement of the rocker arm is limited by an internal shoulder 26 thereof engaging a nose 17 on the lug 15.
