[Class 44] To prevent the opening of a sliding- clasp fastener by lateral pulls on the stringer tapes moving the slider down by cam action, inwardly projecting pips 1f on the plates of the slider enter between the outside ends 2 of the elements and so lock the slider when any lateral pull arises.
