411,035. Steering trailers. SCHROTER, H. O., 182, Miillerstrasse, Berlin. Nov. 20, 1933, No. 32371. Convention date, June 16. [Class 79 (v).] In a forecarriage for trailers &c. the steering rods, operated by the drawbar are so disposed that the vehicle can be turned to either side through a wide angle. A rigid axle structure of the forecarriage is provided with a transverse spring a having a connection m with the vehicle frame and with stub axles c, c<1> which are steerable by means of rods e, el connected to an arm g pivoted to the axle at a point outside the line joining the wheel axles and include an obtuse angle between them. The draw-bar f is pivoted to the arm and the axle structure is arranged in box-form. The ends of the steering rods e, e<1> are curved as shown for clearance purposes.
