[Class 108 (i)] A one-wheeled trailer is provided with a draw-bar for one point connection to a tractor which may be a horse, cycle or car and is so arranged that its frame or the major portion thereof lies below a line joining the point of contact of the trailer wheel with the ground and the point of draw-bar connection. Fig. 4 shows such a trailer connected by an eyelet k to a cycle in such a way that the connection may swivel. The frame c comprises side bars which are continued forwardly and upwardly at M to form the drawbar and rearwardly to the axle mounting of the trailer wheel A. Cross-bars support the trailer body which may be provided with a collapsable cover m. Adjustable wheels d may be provided for stabilizing the vehicle when standing To prevent undue swaying of the trailer cords D are provided connecting the trailer frame to cycle stays F. Various types of bodies may be mounted, some of which extend below the frame c and others which extend by the sides of the trailer wheel. The trailer wheel A may be sprung by means of helical or laminated springs. Fig. 17 shows a trailer for an infant, the body B having windows and a cover H provided with ventilation apertures. Fig. 18 shows an arrangement employing two side cars or trailers B<23>, B<24> and a rear trailer B<24>. If desired, the trailer wheel may be mounted for steering by means of a cable connected to the cycle &c. handle or steering apparatus. The trailer wheel may if desired be replaced by, or furnished with, a skid. Various means for coupling the draw-bar to the tractor are described. The trailer may, if desired, be horse-drawn, the draw-bar being coupled to the horse's saddle.
