[Class 112.] The looper 9 of a scale pan type of overedge stitching machine, moves on one side of the seam only. The work is fed by the usual feed cups 1, 2, and the seam is made by the horizontal needle 3 reciprocated by the bar 5 through the link 17 and eccentric strap 6. The looper 9 carried by the looper bar 10 rocks and slides in the usual way to form the stitch, but without crossing the line of seam formation.
