410,137. Hose cocks. AVERYHARDOLL, Ltd., and FRASER, J., Avery House, Clerkenwell Green, London. Nov. 11, 1932, No. 31889. [Class 135.] A hose cock for use with apparatus for delivering measured quantities comprises a single inverted mushroom valve 2 maintained in the closed position on its seating 1<d>, 1f, which is stepped, as shown, by a separate plunger 3 abutting thereunder by means of a strong spring 4. A weaker spring 9 is provided capable of closing the valve on to its seating in the event of the pumping ceasing although the plunger 3 may still be retracted by the manual operating lever 7.
