Valves or cocks fitted with independ. ently actuated supplementary valves. -To facilitate repairs the main valve B is provided with a loose ball supplementary valve C adapted to engage a seat at rightangles to the main seat. The valve B is normally held away from its seat by a screwed rod D manipulated from the front of the main valve. The valve B may be recessed and loosely mounted on the rod D.
