Abstract

407,419. Slings. JACKS, L. M., 30, Old Bond Street, London. Sept. 29, 1932, No. 27101. [Class 81 (ii).] A sling 1 supporting the arm and shoulder is supple - mented by a strap 4, adapted to apply a downward pull to that part of the sling across the back, and a strap 2, adapted to exert a pull on the uninjured shoulder. Elastic straps 2, 4 are connected to inelastic end portions secured together and to an inelastic belt 3, the strap 4 being looped around the sling 1, and the strap 2 being secured to the sling or the knot 5 so that no slipping can occur. Means for effecting adjustment, such as buckles 8, are provided.
