Abstract

190,880. Hodges, F. E. Nov. 22, 1921. Straps and bands.-An equipment for carrying purposes comprises adjustable load straps 6, provided with hooks 11, and connected to shoulder straps 2 attached, to shoulder pads 1. Adjustablle straps 3 connect the pads together and adjustable straps 4 connect the straps 2. Behind the straps 6 and between the slides 12 are arranged elastic bands which draw the load straps up the user's sleeve when the tension of the load is removed. Yokes 5 pass under the arms of the wearer to couple up the ends of the straps 2.
