[Class 141.] Stockings are gripped between an inner member shown in Fig. 1 and an outer member shown in Fig. 2. The inner member, which comprises, as shown, a series of articulated links 1 bent over at the top, after being placed in position near the top of the stocking is fastened by terminal fastenings 3 attached to a strap 2 passing through the links. The stocking top is pulled over the top of the links, and the outer member 4 placed on top and connected at the ends by fastenings 6 provided on straps 5, which may be elastic. Suspension means 7 are provided for the engagement of suspender straps.
