Abstract

Braces; belts. - A trouser-supporting device comprises an adjustable waist-belt having substantial transverse rigidity, cross or associated shoulder straps connected to the belt, and means mounted on the trousers to contact with the upper edge of and partly embrace the belt. As shown, the straps d connected to the belt a have buckles e for adjusting their lengths, and the trousers f are provided with button-like devices g each comprising a disc h, stem i, and bead j. The devices g may be attached by sewing k, and engage with the upper edge a<1> of the belt and partly embrace the belt by means of the discs h. Instead of the devices g, clips or hooks may be used.
