Be it known that I, THOMAS J. NORTH,

a citizen of the United States, and resident of Louisville, in thecounty of J elfersonand 5 State of Kentucky, have invented certain new and useful Improvements'in Trousers bupportersJof which theflfollowing is a full, clear, and exact description. 7

My invention relates to means for supporting trousers, and has for its. object to provide such a device which may be attached to the inner side of underwear, trousers and the like adjacent the top thereof and which will draw the trousers tightly 'around the Another object of the invention is the provision of such a device which may be attached to the usual suspender; buttons found on the inner side of trousers, or which may be attached to any other part of thegtrousers desired. y
