Pads.-A shoulder protector, for use in connection with a knapsack or rucksack, comprises a curved metal plate A, formed with an indented part B to fit over the collar bone, and provided with straps C adapted to overlie the carrying strap (indicated by dotted lines) and to be secured by buttons E. The device is lined with felt, and the form shown is designed for use on the right shoulder.
