[Class 100 (iii).] Escapements.-The escapements a engage by means of opensided slots g over a pin f, on which they are normally guided, so that they can be separately removed. The escapements are mounted in grooves in a crossbar c, and are hold in place by the pin f. An opening in the side of the slot g enables any escapement to be lifted off. Recesses i are provided on the inner surfaces of the escapements to retain lubricant.
