June 4, 1934, No. 16597. Convention date, Aug. 11, 1933. [Class 100 (iii).] Magazines.-To enable spacebands of various sizes to be used, several spaceband boxes are provided, and are either arranged to slide one beside another, or are put into the machine separately. Two boxes a, Fig. 1, arranged side by side, may be guided by a rib d and rods e, f, the boxes being shifted by means of a handle g, to bring either box into engagement with the spaceband lever i. Alternatively, the box has a removable part k, Fig. 6, containing the spacebands n, and the escapement o remains in the machine. A sliding locking-pin retains the spacebands when the box is removed.
