402,386. Cylinders ; valves. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON., Winterthur, Switzerland. Feb. 25, 1932. No. 5598. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 1, 1932]. [Classes 7 (ii) and 7 (vi).] In a double-acting two-stroke engine, ports 12, 13 for opposite ends of the cylinder, are connected by passages 11 to a common chamber having engine-operated valves 9 ; the ports may be admission ports, as shown, or exhaust ports and an intermediate uncontrolled set 6 may also be provided. In Fig. 4 a passage 22 connected to ports 23, 24 has inlet and exhaust valves 9, 16.
