399,308. Desuperheaters. BABCOCK & WILCOX, Ltd., Farringdon Street, London. - (Deutsche Babcock & Wilcox-Dampfkessel Werke Akt.-Ges. ; Oberhausen, Germany.) Sept. 9, 1932, No. 25145. [Classes 123 (ii) and 123 (iii).] 'Steam to be desuperheated is led through a perforated distributing pipe 3 into the water in a chamber 2, from which steam-water mixture passes through pipes 5 to a boiler steam drum 4 or other separating chamber. Saturated steam is taken from the separating chamber through pipe 7 and water is returned to the mixing chamber through pipe 6. The supply of water to the separating chamber through the pipe 8 is regulated to maintain a constant water level in the chamber.
