Abstract
397,846. Packages. ROSE, A. G. and ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH), Ltd., Albion Works, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Feb. 29, 1932, No. 6002. [Class 94 (i).] An article is wrapped by forming a waxed wrapper into an openended tube about it, collapsing each end to form flattened wings 14, and folding each wing over on itself at 16. The wings are heated while being pressed into shape to cause adherence. The second folds may be diagonal as in Fig. 4a and a series of corrugations or flutings may be impressed thereon. A label or strip of coloured foil may be arranged on the outside or inside so as to surround the middle portion 15 and to be incorporated with the package. According to the Provisional Specification, the wrapper may be of metal foil, and gum or other adhesive may be used.
