Abstract

396,882. Pipe couplings. STONES, E. E., 18, Glenville Avenue, Giffnock, and CROSSLEY, J. L., 146, Cromwell Road, both in Glasgow. April 27, 1932, No. 12057. [Class 99 (i).] Coupling members 10, 14 having preferably a tapered spigot and socket connection are drawn together by a pin or pins 18 engaging inclined slots in a sleeve 16. The pin is extended to form a finger piece 20, and the sleeve is provided with a corresponding finger piece 21. A locking ring 22 has jaws 23 or recesses 25 or both which are adapted to engage the finger pieces. The ring is guided by a pin 26.
