Abstract

E. ; 30, Manning Place, Keansburg, New Jersey, both in U.S.A.) Aug. 7, 1931, No. 22384. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 97 (i).] Successive images on a kinematograph film are focused for different image planes; the images may be taken either by different lenses focused for different planes, or by an oscillating lens, or bv a lens the focus of which is automatically varied. As shown, two differently - focused lenses 21, 22 are mounted on a shaft 20 which is rotated between exposures so that the lenses are used alternately. The lenses are mounted in a rotatable casing 23 having radial partitions, and the lenses and casing are rotated in synchronism with the film feed by a handle 10 through gears 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19.
