Abstract

460,396. Stereoscopic apparatus. ALBERINI, F. March 26, 1936, No. 9082. Convention date, March 26, 1935. [Class 97 (i)] A stereoscopic viewing- device comprises a box-like casing 1 having two objectives 2, 2<1> receiving rays from the right and left eye pictures of a stereogram &c., and containing reflectors 4, 4', 6, 6<1> for causing the beams to be superposed on a translucent screen 7. The width of the screen is not greater than the interpupillary distance and the convergence of the beams is such that the distance between their axes produced beyond the screen is approximately the interpupillary distance at the normal viewing distance. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also an arrangement for projecting kinematograph films having stereoscopic pairs of images, the two beams from a pair of images being received by two reflectors by which they are reflected outwardly to two further reflectors, which direct them into superposition on a projection screen. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
