Abstract

A lubricant for a rubber-cutting knife is made by treating tallow with 1 per cent caustic soda solution and \ba1/4\be per cent sulphuric acid solution, similarly treating a vegetable oil and beating together 15 per cent of each with 70 per cent of water.
