389,891. Stop-motions for cop and like winding frames. FROST, W. H., 307, Colne Road, Burnley. Oct. 10, 1931, No. 28194. [Class 120 (ii).] A weft-yarn measuring stop-motion for attachment to cop-winding frames &c. comprises a pulley b driven by the weft being wound and geared through the worms &c. shown to a stepped cam F or to a slotted disc operating, through a lever f, the stop-motion for the machine or for an individual spindle, the shaft D with a wide pinion E being normally held by a spring c<3> with the worm gears c<1>, c<2> in engagement and being moved endwise for resetting. The cam F &c. may be placed in reversed position on the shaft e<1>, or different sized pulleys b may be used to vary the length of weft wound.
