Abstract

Counters actuated by revolving mechanism; zeroizing-mechanism.-A device as applied to a slubbing, intermediate, or roving frame to indicate the length of yarn wound, comprises an indicating-disc i, Fig. 1, driven from the delivery roller shaft through worm gearing a, b, bevel gearing c, d, and a tooth g, which engages teeth h on the disc i. The pointer j is fixed in the bracket f. The indicating-disc y, Fig. 3, may be stationary, and the pointer w rotated through a worm wheel o. The pointer spindle p engages the worm-wheel frictionally, and can be pressed forward against a spring u to disengage the friction cone t and allow the pointer to be turned to the zero mark. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2009/89, 8394/93, and 17498/07.
