Abstract
404,926. Twisting and winding yarns. GRIBOJEDOFF, N., 14, Rue de Tilsitt, Paris. April 21, 1932, No. 11502. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 22, 1932]. [Class 120 (ii).] In the arrangement described in Specification 404,265, wherein yarn or yarns are twisted by rotary guides and wound on a bobbin tube b y guiding and tensioning means reciprocated by a cam, the bobbin tube 38 is rotated by gears 66, 67 of different diameters which are mounted in a member 62 clipped t o the stationary bush 5 and geared with wheels 61, 64 secured respectively to the driven disc 3, which carries the guiding and tensioning means, and to the bobbin tube. The gearing is such that the tube rotates in the same direction as but faster than the disc 3, but by the use of bevel wheels it may be rotated in the opposite direction. Change gearing is arranged between the traverse cam and the worm wheel which, gearing with the worm 12 on the bush 5, is rotated to effect the traverse of the guiding and tensioning means, of which only the terminal guide 34 is shown.
