388,574. Propelling aircraft. MOSIMANN, P., Utzenstorf, Berne, Switzerland. March 4, 1932, No. 6584. [Class 4.] A machine having a supporting plane 2 is provided with rotary propellers 3 on each side of the fuselage mounted on a common transverse shaft 4 and enclosed in casings 6 open at the bottom. Small screw propellers 7 are provided on the shaft 4 to draw air on to the propellers 3 and into the fuselage to cool the engine which also receives air from a forward opening in the fuselage. The propellers are driven from an engine 10 through gearing 9 from which a rear wheel 1<1> may be driven by a chain 11.
