386,538. Dust-proof light-projectors. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, 13D, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. June 13, 1932, No. 16689. Convention date, June 23, 1931. [Class 75 (iv).] In a dust-proof light-projector a reflector 2 and one or more. electric lamp holders 4 are surrounded by and in contact with a housing which is closed in an airtight manner by a glass 8 and which is made of metal or like heatconducting material of such dimensions as to provide sufficient cooling of the reflector, lamp holders, supply conductors, and other parts directly or indirectly exposed to the heat rays emitted by the electric lamp 1. The housing 3 may be formed with ribs 6 and a glass reflector may be secured to the housing by means of springs 7 so as to allow of relative expansion between the reflector and the housing. The glass 8 is carried by a rim 9 which is bolted to the housing 3 against a rubber ring 11.
