385,313. Reciprocating motors. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, and CLINKER, H. G., (Representative of CLINKER, R. C.), 4, Limerick Road, Redland, Bristol. March 20, 1931, No. 8677. Addition to 379,711. [Class 35.] In the apparatus for electrically producing mechanical movement of a core or armature as claimed in claim 2 of the parent Specification, the core of the magnetic circuit is made up of substantially U-shaped laminµ 1, a relatively small number being arranged reversely as at 3 to close the magnetic circuit. The part 3 will be at a higher saturation than the remaining parts of the core and will act as an attracting face for the pivoted armature 4. A coil such as 2 is mounted on one or both limbs of the core.
