[Class 40 (v).] In a supersonic heterodyne receiver, the grid of a combined oscillating and detecting valve g is connected through alternating current resistances l, k to the circuits m, f tuned respectively to the received and the local frequency. A screened grid valve is used as the combined oscillator and detector.
