[Class 40 (iv).] In a moving- coil loud-speaker, the frame 16 for supporting the diaphragm 5 is held by clamping its end portion 18 between the magnet body 1 and the annular polepiece 2, which is pressed into an aperture in the magnet body. The outer edge of the diaphragm is glued to a strip 11 of material such as thin leather, which is clamped to the frame 16.
