Loud-speakers; diaphragms. - A loud-speaker comprises; a polygonal frame 3, a conical diaphragm 1 attached to the frame and a. strap 4 secured to the frame and carrying a magnet system 2 connected to the diaphragm 1 by a rod 5. A single. legged support 11, pivoted to the strap 4, coacts with one side of the frame 3 to support the speaker either as shown in Fig. 2 or on a wall. The diaphragm is secured to the frame by means of a yielding strip 6, Fig. 5, the frame being formed with a tapering slit 7 in which the material 6 is clamped by a metal ring or hoop 8.
