[Class 13] Instruments such as loud-speakers or directional microphones provided with annular reflectors as in the parent Specification have the screens or reflectors in the concave part of a conical diaphragm. The interior reflector 5 may be pointed as shown, and the outer 4 cylindrical so that the space between them increases according to an exponential law. The diaphragm 1 may be formed with corrugations 7, 8 and 9 to lessen its response to high frequencies.
