Abstract
376,778. Capsules for bottles. ALUMINIUM, Ltd., 22, Canada Life Building, Toronto, Canada.-(Assignees of Niver, R. W. ; 612, West Church Street, Elmira, New York, and Sharp, J. E. ; 1219, Woodmont Avenue, New Kensington, Pennsylvania, both in U.S.A.) April 9, 1931, No. 10519. Convention date, April 18, 1930. [Class 125 (iii).] A bottle &c. 1 has a pliable closure cap 10 which co-operates with a series of spaced projections 3 thereon. The projections merge into a peripheral bead 2 at the mouth of the bottle &c. and taper downwardly, and the cap is moulded to engage them. To remove the cap it is rotated so that the detents formed in the skirt of the cap between the projections are obliterated. The cap may be replaced to protect the bottle &c. mouth against contamination. Specification 376,790 is referred to.
